The Rays have agreed to trade their 2019 3rd round draft pick to the Orioles for Anibal Sanchez, P ATL, $400k(1Yr) ARB(-) OPT(-).
The Rays place Anibal Sanchez on their bench. To make room, the Rays move Alex Cobb, P BAL, from the bench to the Reserves (he has already used his option for 2018).

The Rays send Mallex Smith, OF TB, $400k(5Yrs) ARB('20'22'22) OPT(2)* and Logan Allen, P SD, 4-year minors contract to the A's.
The A's send Nathan Eovaldi, P TB/BOS, $1M(4Yrs) ARB(-) OPT(3) to the Rays.
THE RAYS WILL PLACE EOVALDI ON THE BENCH WHEN THE TRADE IS FINALIZED IN FANTRAX.

Since Dalier Hinojosa retired back in March of 2018, the Rays void his contract and remove it from salary cap consideration per the Constitution.
