Oakland Athletics Baseball promote Ryan Merritt/RP/Cleveland $0.4M (4 years) ARB (-) OPT (4) to the reserve roster. The roster is ready for verification. Carlos Asajue and Chad Pinder need their ARB(20-22) years updated on Fantrax. Fixed Carlos and Pinder. As for Merritt, just a note that he's actually issued options as OPT(*). He will receive 4 options if he's signed to a 6 year arbitration deal this next off-season |

Oakland Athletics baseball sign Mitch Moreland/1B/ BOS to a 1 year $500k contract and place him on the reserve roster. In a corresponding move we release Adam Lind/1B/Unsigned and his 3.0 M contract.

Oakland Athletics baseball sign Mitch Moreland/1B/ BOS to a 1 year $500k contract and place him on the reserve roster. In a corresponding move we release Adam Lind/1B/Unsigned and his 3.0 M contract. This move is illegal as Moreland receives 0 options (he's well over the 1800 AB threshold for options). Did you mean to add him to the active roster? Also, did Lind have 1 year remaining on his deal? Thanks! |

I do what I want! Jk, honestly I was in a panic to add him on time and didn't read the rule at all. Lind had 1 year remaining @ 3.0M. I will move Moreland. Thanks  |

Just a note I am having trouble moving "suitcase" Perez to the DL.
