The Indians Claimed 2B Jonathan Piron Rockies off minor league waivers and place him on the minor league roster which takes the total minor leaguers to 40. So no other transaction needed.

The Indians have released SP Hyun-Jin Ryu Dodgers $3.0 M (5 Yrs) ARB(-) OPT(4) 10.01 -*Insured -344 IP / 56 GP and claim the Injury Insurance on him because he is on the 60-Day DL and he was insured. His full contract has been cancelled.
