Yankees sign Aristides Aquino OF - CIN with a $9.5M signing bonus to a 1-MINORS $400k(1Yr) ARB(-) OPT(*) contract, placing him on the Bench.
To make room on the roster the Yankees waive Clay Buchholz SP - TOR including his $400K salary for 2019/2020.

Yankees option Daniel Descalso CHC to active reserve using option 1 and move Aristides Aquino OF - CIN to active. Descalso will is not eligible to option as he currently doesn't have any options. Players who come into the season with over 1800 AB's, 750 IP, or 250 Games Pitched will not have any options and cannot be sent to the reserve roster due to what is considered "Veteran's Consent".
