The Rays and Rangers have agreed to the following trade:
The Rays send:
1) Victor Reyes, OF DET, $400k(5Yrs) ARB(-) OPT(3)*
2) Moises Gomez, OF TB, and his 5-year minors contract
The Rangers trade:
1) Pedro Severino, C BAL, $400k(4Yrs) ARB(-) OPT(4))
2) Carlos Hernandez, P KC, and his 4-year minors contract
3) Jon Duplantier, P AZ and his 3-year minors contract
The Rays place Pedro Severino on the Bench. To make room, the Rays send Chris Taylor, 2B/SS/OF LAD to the Reserves roster using the option for 2020, which now becomes OPT(3)*.
The Rays place Hernandez and Duplantier on the minors roster.
