White Sox sign Michael Chavis, 1B/2B/SS (BOS) to a $400k 1-Minors Arb (-) Opt (*) contract (moving him from the minors roster to the majors).
In a corresponding move, placing Adrew Knapp, C (PHI) and his contract of $400k, 5 years Arb (22, 23, 24) Opt (2*) on the reserve roster (using an option, from 3 to 2*).

The White Sox sign Glenn Sparkman, SP/RP (KC) to a $400k Arb (-) Opt (4) contract for 2 years since it has been 48 hours since the last bid on him was made. Sparkman is under the 750IP and 250GP, at 136IP and 31GP, which gives him the 4 options.

The White Sox sign Tyler Chatwood, SP/RP (CHC) to a 2 year, $1.1M Arb (-) Opt (4) contract with 38GP and 76.2IP, Chatwood is at 76.2IP & 38GP, under the 750IP and 250GP, which gives him the 4 options.
In a corresponding move, Steven Brault $400k Arb (23, 24, 25) Opt (3*), 6 years will be placed on the reserve roster using his existing option, changing from 4 to 3*.
