The Rockies release the following players who were on a minors-1 contract thus no cap charges are enforced
Diego Rincones
Caleb Sampen
Ryan Tepera, RP CHC is released with 1yr $600k remaining on his contract.
Yu Chang is released who had a 1yr deal remaining plus 3yrs of arbitration remaining. Rockies will only be responsible for 1 yr at $400k.

Luis Ortiz, SP BAL is signed to a 6yr MiLB contract with a $50k signing bonus

*Tim Lopes is signed to a 6yr MiLB contract with a $1.5m signing bonus. He will be promoted and assigned a minors-1 contract.
*Carlos Martinez, SP STL is moved to the DL. Tim Lopes is moved to the active roster to replace Martinez.
**Eddy Yean, SP WAS & Sam Delaplane, RP SEA & Eduardo Garcia, SS MIL & Matt Cronin, RP WAS & Kohl Franklin SP CHC are all signed to 6yr MiLB contracts for a $50k signing bonus each they take up empty roster spots on the minors
***Brainer Bonaci, SS BOS is signed to a 6yr MiLB contract and Alec Marsh, SP KC is released to make room. He has 5yrs remaining.

Nick Madrigal is placed on the DL, and Luis Rengifo is promoted to the majors roster from the reserve. Rengifo was demoted less than 7 days ago, however, due to injury he's being recalled.

Matt Cronin is promoted and assigned a Minors-1 contract and placed on the reserve roster
Josh Staumont is promoted and assigned a Minors-1 contract and placed on the reserve roster
Michael Triana is released with his 6yr MiLB contract
Spencer Steer is released with his 5yr MiLB contract
Ryan Brasier is released and the Rockies will buy out the remainder of the contract. He has 6yrs $400k with ARB('23,'24,'25) OPT(3*)

Rockies complete trade with Yankees:
Rockies traded Travis Swaggerty OF PIT 4yrs and a 2021 5th round pick for Maikel Franco and Alex Cobb.
Cobb and Franco are both activated. As a result Dennis Santana and Luis Rengifo are optioned to the reserve roster.
The Rockies release Kyle Stowers, OF BAL 6yr MiLB contract
2020 draft picks are signed to 6yr MiLB deals:
Robert Hassell, OF SDP
Christian Roa, SP CIN
AJ Vukovich, 3B ARI
Colt Keith, 3B DET
Casey Martin, SS PHI

Kyle Funkhouser is released. Funkhouser is on a 6yr $400k deal with ARB in ('23,'24,'25) Rockies will buy out the 3 years in which they are responsible.
Jasseel De La Cruz, P ATL is promoted from the minors and assigned a minors-1 deal. He will be placed on the reserve roster.
