Dodgers has failed to meet the IP requirement for the 4th time, however, in accordance to the rule below, an exception has been granted due to Dodgers activity in attempting to fix the issue and speaking with commissioners regarding the rule.
INFRACTIONS
A. MINIMUM IP of 35 NOT REACHED:
1. If a team fails to exceed 35 IP in a weekly matchup (70 IP for the 2 week championship), they will take automatic losses in the ERA and WHIP categories for that particular week. Exceptions MAY be made in unique situations. If an owner thinks he is in jeopardy of failing to meet the 35 IP requirement and think he has a valid reason for failing to meet the requirement (high number of injuries, inability to sign/trade for SP's, etc.), he MUST contact the commissioners to inform them of his situation before the weekly matchup ends. If the commissioners believe the situation warrants it, they can make an exception
Additional penalties for failing to reach or exceed 35 IP in a weekly matchup:
1st time rule is violated: no penalty
2nd time rule is violated: no penalty
3rd time rule is violated: $2,000,000 fine assessed in the FOLLOWING season. So if this happens in 2018, the fine will be assessed for 2019
4th time rule is violated: $5,000,000 fine is assessed in following season
