Mike and Paul, the automatic promotion is an interesting idea. I will leave this idea modification here. The automatic promotion would force owners to make unplanned knee jerk strategic decisions mid-season that would have roster and salary implications which could prove to be difficult to handle and foresee. That being said, we COULD figure out what the ABs / IPs need to be and once a prospect has hit that then that prospect is MUST be promoted the following season at the latest. That would give owners an opportunity to plan their roster and salary accordingly.

I agree Jacob, I would say owners can promote someone during the season if they surpass the eligibility standards but an owner can elect to promote the player next year or during end of year transactions. That way it gives the player an extra year of service time.

I’m not familiar with Fantrax like I am with CBS is there a way for Fantrax to designate a player as no longer having minor eligibility? That way it is less overhead for the commissioners?
