Yankees waive Dan Hulzen, SP, FA (5 year minor league deal) and sign TJ Friedl, OF, CIN to a 6 year minor league deal receiving a $100,000 signing bonus.

Yankees waive Dan Hulzen, SP, FA (5 year minor league deal) and sign TJ Friedl, OF, CIN to a 6 year minor league deal receiving a $100,000 signing bonus. Transaction is voided and a $1M penalty for failure to sign Friedl within the 48 hour window is applied. |

Yankees sign Brad Peacock to a 1 year $400,000 deal and placed on the active roster, he receives no options. Grant Dayton will be moved from the active roster to the DL to make room.

Yankees promote Aaron Judge to the active roster from minor league roster. He is assigned minors-1 contract. Yankees have waived 2B Brett Lawrie (3mil x 5 yr contract).

The Yankees trade to the Rays:

2) Jedd Gyorko, 3B/2B/SS STL, $1M (5Yrs) ARB(-) OPT(3)
None of these players have used their option so far in 2017.
