INFRACTIONS
A. MINIMUM IP of 35 NOT REACHED:
1. If a team fails to exceed 35 IP in a weekly matchup (70 IP for the 2 week championship), they will take automatic losses in the ERA and WHIP categories for that particular week. Exceptions WILL NOT be made in unique situations such as injuries, difficulties with free agent and trade market, etc.
Additional penalties for failing to reach or exceed 35 IP in a weekly matchup:
1st time rule is violated: no penalty
2nd time rule is violated: no penalty
3rd time rule is violated: $2,000,000 fine assessed in the FOLLOWING season. So if this happens in 2021, the fine will be assessed for 2022
4th time rule is violated: $5,000,000 fine is assessed in following season
5th time rule is violated: $7,000,000 fine is assessed in following season
B. SALARY CAP INFRACTIONS:
1. There is a yearly cap of $100,000,000 dollars. If you supercede the cap you will have up to 72 HRS to correct the error.
2. After the 72 HR window has expired:
a. The team will be fined $100,000 per day.
b. The fine will be assessed once the team has the Cap room to pay it or at the start of the following season, if Cap space can not be made.
c. After 10 days, and every 10 days thereafter, the team will forfeit a draft pick beginning with the 5th rd pick and up thereafter.
ex. if notified on Thursday you would have until Sunday to correct the error. On Monday the first $100,000 penalty would be enforced.
3. When calculating available Cap space, as a general rule you should allow $400,000 per available 40-man roster spot. In practice, you actually have $400K more available from each 40-man roster spot held by a minor leaguer. For example, if you have a full 40-man roster and $0 of cap space, you could still bid up to $400K on a free agent as long as you waived a minor leaguer from the 40-man after signing the FA.
C. ROSTER SIZE INFRACTION:
1. All rosters must remain at 27 once finalized.
2. If after a trade your team has fewer than 27, you must call up a minor leaguer or be actively bidding on a replacement.
3. Failure to do so within 48 hours of notification will incur a penalty of $100,000 per day.
D. EDITING BIDS OR BID DELETION:
1. No Editing or Deleting of Bids under any circumstances.
2. Errors must be corrected in a new reply.
3. Failure to comply with the edition and deletion rule will result in a 72 HR ban on bidding.
4. New members will be allowed one warning in their first month of membership.
E. EDITING TRANSACTION THREADS:
1. No Editing of Transaction Threads under any circumstances.
2. If an error is made correct it in a new reply.
3. Failure to comply will result in a $250,000 fine.
4. Subsequent offenses will result in a $500,000 fine per incident and possibly removal from the league (pending Commissioner review and League vote).
5. New members will be allowed one warning during their first 2 months.
F. PROMPT TRANSACTION POSTING:
1. After you have won a bid or a claim, GMs have 72 HRS to update your roster and transaction thread.
2. If the winning GM fails to post the signing to its team transaction thread, assigning the player salary and years, the club will be fined $100,000 and will be reminded to do so.
3. If there were other bidders, the player will be offered to the 2nd highest bidder for the value of his highest bid.
4. Teams will incur a $100,000 fine per day, after the final day to request verification, if they have failed to make all changes specified by Commissioners.
G. THE RESPECT CLAUSE:
1. The stay calm and fantasy on clause. This is a general reminder that all team GMs should act in a mature, calm, and always respectful manner.
2. If it is deemed that a GM is consistently disrespecting other GMs in the league in a severe enough manner, the Commissioners reserve the right to have an internal vote on the possible removal of the GM without a League wide vote.
