The Rays sign Howie Kendrick, 2B/3B WAS, to a $400k(1Yr) ARB(-) OPT(-) contract and place him on the bench.
To make room for Kendrick, the Rays move Leury Garcia, OF CHW to the Reserves roster. He has already used his option for this year.
