The Rays activate Marwin Gonzalez from the DL and place him on the Bench.
To make room, the Rays move Jose Peraza, 2B/SS/OF CIN, $400k(4Yrs) ARB('20'21'22) OPT(3)* from the Bench to the Reserves, using one of his option years.

The Rays trade Jaime Barria, P LAA, $400k(6Yrs) ARB('22'23'24) OPT(3)* to NY.
The Yanks trade Franchy Cordero, OF SD, $400k(5Yrs) ARB('21'22'23) OPT(2)* to TB.
The Rays will place Cordero on the DL.

If a player with insurance is placed on the 60-day DL, the team may Waive - not drop - the player at any point while he remains on the DL. Once Waived, the team would no longer be responsible for the player's salary. The player must be posted to Waivers and the transaction must be noted in the team's transaction page.
Per the above rule in the Constitution, the Rays waive Steven Souza, OF AZ, $3M(3Yrs) ARB(-) OPT(3). Since Souza was placed on the 60-day IL on June 27, 2019, The Rays are no longer responsible for his salary since he was injury insured at the beginning of the season.
