Hey everyone,

The Draft Guru (Dodgers) made the recommendation of holding the draft on the 11th of July, providing everyone the chance to digest those selected in the upcoming draft and increasing the chances they'd be signed - or not - by then. Does anyone have an issue with this date? If so, let me know via message. We realize the summer's a busy vacation time, but so long as you have a cell phone and connectivity, it's a slow draft that should be easy to follow along with.

If anyone wants to deal any picks, I'm all ears as my team is seriously underperforming. My short-contract guys are all OTB, so let me know if you're interested!

How much do you need to pay to sign a drafted player? I don't see an amount listed.

If you sign them, they are placed on your minor league roster and won't be paid anything until they're promoted to the active roster.

Reminder to everyone that as we approach the Amateur draft, Dodgers will be setting up all draft pages with traded picks ect... IT IS EVERY OWNER'S RESPONSIBILITY to make sure the trades listed are accurate, and if not, to contact Dodgers directly to get it fixed. Include the other owner involved in the message chain to minimize traffic and confusion.

Make sense? Just don't want to have to repair anything that gets missed during or after the draft, because it may or may not be possible to do.
