The Royals have received the below players from the Orioles in a salary relief trade:
-Cavan Biggio 1b/2b Tor Arb1 2* opt
-Thad Ward Sp/Rp Wsh 3 year milb
Biggio will be placed on the reserves squad.
Ward will be promoted from MiLB to the active roster and placed on a 1-M contract.
To make room the following players have been waived:
2B Tyler Wade OAK 2 yrs $400k Opt (2*) ARB (-) $800k owed
RP Josh Rogers COL 2 yrs $400k Opt (3) ARB (-) $800k owed

He will be promoted from MiLB to the active roster and placed on a 1-M contract.
Luis Cessa P COL has been optioned to reserves and his options decrease from 4 to 3*.
