Rockies release Taylor Guerreri, SP TB.. he's on a Minors-1 Contract at $400K.. the rockies will not be charged his cap.. Guerreri was on the reserve roster.
Rockies promote Luis Castillo, SP CIN from the Minors to the active roster.. he will be assigned a $400K (Minors-1) contract and will be placed in the starting lineup.
Jacob Barnes will be demoted to the reserve roster to make room for Castillo on the active roster. Barnes has already used his option for the 2017 season.
