Didn't realize we were posting "as per Fantrax" for playoffs, but mine is set! Note: Ryan Helsey gets 1-Minors Arb(-) Opt(*) contract for his promotion in time for playoffs.

Didn't realize we were posting "as per Fantrax" for playoffs, but mine is set! Note: Ryan Helsey gets 1-Minors Arb(-) Opt(*) contract for his promotion in time for playoffs. This is an illegal move not because Helsley was promoted, but because it looks like the other corresponding move to make space was placing Darvish on the reserve roster, which is not allowed due to Veteran's Consent with him having 0 options. This has been reversed and Helsley will not be able to be on active roster this week due to the transactions not being posted here and also making an illegal move. |

" After discussing we would say that the way it is written does allow a gray area for what you can do for playoffs with Veteran's with 0 options and will allow it. Lourdes Gurriel has appendicitis and is out remainder of season. So Cards will take him off Finals roster and replace him with Brandon Lowe.

Actually, just revisited the rules on this, and as a SP, Gallen has to be replaced by a SP. So instead of replacing him with Hand, Cards will replace him with Brendan McKay. |
